Barisal Sadar Upazila's Raipasha-Karaapura union's Raipasha village hundreds of years old Mia Mosque of the house. The mosque is so old that people of its proper age group could not even say. The original design of the mosque has been reformed last year. A large mosque built in front of the British period in the greater Barisal region. The mosque is located on the west side of Barisal-Karapur road in the city. The founder of this mosque, Hayat Mahmud, was exiled to the Prince of Wales because of his revolt against the British rule and his zamindari of Bourgeoog Ummedpur was taken away. After sixteen years, he returned to the country and built two dighi and two-storey mosque. In the architecture of the mosque, the imitation of Kartalab Khan Mosque built by Shaista Khan in old Dhaka is visible.
